Chirping alarm? Dead battery? Ceiling too high? We'll take care of it.

Friendly, careful smoke and carbon monoxide alarm service for Tri-Cities homes and small businesses. No ladders for you, no guesswork, just alarms that work.

Run by a local firefighter who cares about keeping Tri-Cities families safe.

Why this matters

Working smoke alarms save lives, but keeping them working isn't always easy. Batteries die at 2 a.m., alarms sit on ceilings too high to reach, and it's hard to know when a unit is simply too old.

Tri-Cities fire crews are often called out just to change a battery or quiet a chirping alarm. We're happy to handle those everyday jobs, so firefighters can stay focused on emergencies.

  • No climbing ladders or step stools yourself
  • Every alarm in your home tested, not just the noisy one
  • Clear, honest advice about what needs replacing
  • Simple home fire-safety tips during every visit

Common questions

Why is my smoke alarm chirping?

A short chirp every minute or so usually means the battery is low. In a 10-year sealed alarm, it often means the alarm has reached the end of its life and needs replacing. Dust, a loose battery, or an old unit can also cause chirps. We'll find the cause and fix it.

How often should smoke alarms be replaced?

The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) and alarm manufacturers recommend replacing smoke alarms every 10 years, even if they still seem to work. Check the date printed on the back of the alarm. Carbon monoxide alarms often have a shorter life, so follow the manufacturer's guidance. We'll check the dates for you on every visit.

Do you work on hardwired alarms?

Hardwired alarms? We'll connect you with a licensed electrician. We take care of battery-powered and 10-year sealed alarms, and we can still test hardwired alarms and replace their backup batteries.
